Through WizWorks, fundraising and organizational development consultant
for over 150 not-for-profit, commercial, and political entities.
Breadth of experience includes capital fundraising; political
and direct-mail programs, organizational planning, and grassroots
organizing. Of particular interest is the fact that many contractees
have rehired WizWorks over and over again.
1983-1996
Director of Development and Deputy Director of the Columbia Museum
of Art. Started development office of the museum; developed and
implemented strategy for political support for new museum on Main
Street; managed capital campaign for Museum on Main projecta
combination $8 million public and $6 million private public/non-profit
partnership.
1978-1983
Fundraising, organizational development and project management
for a variety of non-profit, public and political organizations,
including the Democratic National Committee, Medlock for SC Attorney
General, and the Greenville Coliseum Committee.

As
principal of Denny Public Affairs, Tony Denny provides public relations
services and organizes grass roots campaigns for trade associations,
corporations and non-profit organizations. Denny brings his strong
network of relationships, built over 15 years in southern politics,
and his keen understanding of grass roots mobilization and coalition
building to his innovative campaigns. His firm conducts mobilization/turnout
efforts for public hearings and legislative meetings, letter writing
and "grass tops" campaigns and other support of lobbying efforts.
A South Carolina native, Denny began his career in politics as a
young field organizer for the campaigns of then-Congressman Carroll
Campbell. Highlights of his career include serving as Executive
Director of the South Carolina Republican Party and managing the
1996 re-election campaign of Senator Strom Thurmond. Today, Denny
has a detailed knowledge of the political and business environment
